This day started out rough, thank God for coffee, my husband, my son. They can turn things around in an instant. Nothing like waking to a beginner recorder player pre-coffee:) Everyone I love is on my mind. I have to push through tasks and check things off my list of rather important things to do for work, yet I want to be available to the ones I love. Gratitude

Self messaging

I'm paying closer attention to messages I'm feeding myself. You can really redirect your view of self in zany direction doing so... Just with the internal conversations you have.

mornings

Mornings are hard, especially if you wake feeling not quite rested enough. Everything fills my head, all the gotta do's, wanna do's & what's not getting done. Where's my focus? Where do I want it to be? What's coming this week? How am I ever going to accomplish all of this? OK, so maybe I'm not. Be selective. Be grateful you can get out of bed on your own, go grab your coffee & start accomplishing tasks one by one. Maybe it's not all as LARGE as it seems in the morning. Maybe the next post should ponder expectations...

Day 3

Making it work for nonprofit arts is stressful right now. Gotta be aware - mind, body, spirit - nourish all three & find balance. I also need to DO MY OWN ART!!! I'm so focused on trying to make it happen so others can do their art, bring & share their skills, I'm not making time for my art... i need to... maybe "making it happen" is my current genre?
